Image Orthodontics is a leading orthodontic practice in South San Francisco, CA dedicated to providing exceptional care and treatment to our patients. We specialize in creating beautiful smiles and are committed to delivering outstanding service in a warm and welcoming environment.  

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. As RDA, you will have the unique opportunity to work across diverse specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about providing top-notch patient care, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative team setting. 

Schedule

• Alternative Work Schedule: 7:30AM-6:30PM
• Monday-Friday, 2 Saturdays per month

Qualifications and Skills

• Current California RDA license
• Current X-ray license
• Experience working in orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and/or oral surgery required
• Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Upbeat personality is a must

Key Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists, pediatric dentists, and oral surgeons with dental procedures and treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures.
• Take and develop x-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic/dental procedures.
• Perform various administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the dental practice.
