Image Orthodontics is a leading orthodontic practice in San Jose, CA, dedicated to providing exceptional care and treatment to our patients. We specialize in creating beautiful smiles and are committed to delivering outstanding service in a warm and welcoming environment. 

We are seeking a qualified Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with orthodontic experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and possess the necessary skills and knowledge to assist our orthodontists in delivering top-notch orthodontic treatments.

Schedule

• Full-time Position
• Monday-Friday, no weekends
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications & Skills

• Active X-Ray license
• RDA license is highly desirable
• Prior experience in orthodontics required
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctual
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with various orthodontic procedures such as braces adjustments, wire changes, and appliance placements
• Take and develop x-rays as needed
• Prepare and maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on proper orthodontic care and hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment
