Valle Smiles is a leading dental practice in Fairfield, CA dedicated to providing exceptional care and treatment to our patients. We specialize in creating beautiful smiles and are committed to delivering outstanding service in a warm and welcoming environment. 

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. You will work closely with patients, providing assistance during dental procedures and helping to create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Schedule

• This is a full-time position
• Monday through Friday - no weekends
• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Key Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required, completion of a dental assistant program preferred
• Current CPR and X-ray certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Prior experience working in a dental office 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in providing dental treatments to patients, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and restorations
• Take and develop dental X-rays 
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and treatment information
• Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices
• Schedule appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed
• Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as necessary
