Join us at the ground level of our brand-new orthodontic and pediatric dental practice in Turlock, opening in early June! Image Orthodontics/Kali Smiles Kids is seeking a proactive and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with experience in orthodontics or pediatrics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outstanding patient care and the ability to assist in top-notch orthodontic treatments. As we are establishing this new practice, team members will be integral in practice development, marketing, and managing phone lines, alongside their regular duties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active X-Ray license
• RDA license is highly desirable
• Prior experience in orthodontics or pediatrics required
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Punctual
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with various orthodontic procedures such as braces adjustments, wire changes, and appliance placements
• Take and develop x-rays as needed
• Prepare and maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on proper orthodontic care and hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment
